Author Guideline

To ensure a smooth and efficient submission process, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Manuscript Preparation:

  • The manuscript must be prepared on A4 paper size (210 mm × 297 mm) and formatted in a two-column layout. The page margins should be set to 2.5 cm on the left, 1.5 cm on the right, 2.44 cm at the top, and 3 cm at the bottom. The distance from the page edge should be 0.55 cm for the header and 2 cm for the footer.

    To ensure a concise and focused presentation, the initial manuscript submission is limited to 5–7 pages. Authors are expected to clearly present the main research contributions, methodology, results, and discussion within the specified page limit.

    All manuscript text must use Times New Roman font. Authors should follow the formatting, section structure, citation style, figures, tables, equations, and other requirements provided in the official article template.

2. Highlight Paper

  • In addition to the main manuscript, authors are required to download and complete the Highlight Paper Template as part of the submission requirements.

    The Highlight Paper should provide concise information regarding the main contributions of the paper, conflict of interest declaration, author biographies, and individual author contributions. Authors are requested to complete all required sections accurately before submitting the manuscript.

3. Title Page:

  • Include the manuscript title, list of authors with affiliations, and the corresponding author's contact information.
  • Provide a concise and informative title that reflects the essence of your research.

4. Abstract and Keywords:

  • Include an abstract of no more than 250 words summarizing the key objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Provide 3-5 keywords that capture the main themes of your work.

5. Figures and Tables:

  • Ensure all figures and tables are high-resolution and clearly labeled.
  • Include captions for figures and tables that explain their significance.

6. Citations and References:

  • Cite all sources accurately in the text and list them in the References section.

7. Ethical Considerations:

  • Clearly state any conflicts of interest, funding sources, or ethical approvals obtained for your research.
  • Ensure that your submission adheres to ethical standards in research and publication.

8. Peer Review Process:

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
  • Authors will receive feedback from reviewers to enhance the quality of their work.

9. Copyright and Licensing:

  • Published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License, allowing for broad dissemination and use.

10. Manuscript Submission:

  • Submit your manuscript through our online submission system.
  • Include all supplementary materials, if applicable.

11. Manuscript Status:

  • Authors can check the status of their submissions through the online system.
  • Communication regarding acceptance, revisions, or rejection will be conveyed promptly.

12. Open Access Policy:

  • JEIS is an open-access journal, providing free access to all published content.
  • Authors are responsible for any publication fees associated with open access.
